Congratulations to the following recipients of Awards in 2009

Donna Young, the recipient of the Maple Leaf Pin in recognition of her service both to the League and to the broader community

Joyce Shewan who received a Certificate of Merit from the local CWL Council for her outstanding service.  Among the many ways in which Joyce has served the League is the   fundraiser she spearheaded which resulted in a $5000 donation to the Women's Shelter for the purpose of refurbishing and furnishing one of the rooms.
